There was a historic night for The Roy Simpson MBE Foundation on Wednesday when the registered charity held its first official trustees meeting.
Seven of the charities’ eight trustees met at Luciano’s in Peterlee to discuss ideas for driving the Foundation forward after it was formally awarded charity status.
Chair of Trustees, Mark Simpson, led a meeting that was attended by Claire and Peter Nicholson, Les and Pauline King and Paul and Carla Williams.
A number of ideas were discussed and decided upon with plenty of enthusiasm for the task that lies ahead in establishing the Foundation and trying to achieve its aim of impacting on the landscape of youth cricket across East Durham.is is your first post. Edit or delete it, then start writing!
